NW London FC can confirm that CJ Eseka and Wesley Café have both completed moves to league leaders Newbury Forest, with the transfers agreed just 24 hours after the NW London vs Newbury fixture.
Manager Wasim Khan commented on the departures:
“We get a lot of interest for our players, as we've unearthed a number of players who were at lower divisions or without a club.
Regardless of how they left, when they were here, they gave their maximum on the pitch, so we appreciate their efforts.
It's a great opportunity for other players to step up as there is real talent in our squad.”
CJ Eseka
CJ Eseka departs for his second spell away from the club, having re-joined NW London at the start of the season after previously moving to Broadfields in Step 5.
Eseka has been in outstanding form, scoring 11 goals in 14 games this season, taking his overall club total to 30 goals in 36 appearances—a remarkable return that made him one of NW London's most potent attacking threats.
Wesley Café
Brazilian midfielder Wesley Café also completes his move after joining NW London at the start of the campaign. His creativity and experience played a key role in the early part of the season, producing 4 goals and 2 assists in 10 appearances.
NW London FC thanks both players for their contributions and wishes them the very best in their next chapter with Newbury Forest.
