Arianit Krasniqi has been in sensational form this season, leading the charge for NW London FC with 11 goals to his name.

We caught up with the club's top scorer to discuss his footballing journey, his decision to join NW London FC, and his ambitions for the season ahead.

A Footballing Family Rivalry

Football has been at the heart of Krasniqi's life from the very beginning, with competition driving him to improve from an early age.

"Before I could speak, me and my brother were always kicking a ball in the living room from a young age. Our friendly competition pushed us to improve, constantly striving to be better than each other. This rivalry turned into motivation, driving us to train harder and never settle, helping me get a scholar at QPR academy, and him at Leicester City FC. Before long, our entire household became football-mad, with the game at the heart of everything we did."

Growing up in a football-obsessed family created an environment where dedication to the game was second nature. That same commitment and determination continue to define Krasniqi's approach to the sport today.

Joining NW London FC

Having already played men's football at various levels, Krasniqi knew what he was looking for in a club. The ambition and professionalism of NW London FC made it an easy choice for him.

"Having played men's football at Step 3, 4, and 5, joining NW London FC was an easy decision for me after hearing how professionally-run the club is by the gaffer. The team's success in securing multiple promotions over the last few years proved its ambition and quality."

But beyond the club's structure and achievements, it was the players around him that reinforced his decision.

"The level of talent in this squad is fantastic, pushing me to raise my game every single day. Knowing that we all share the same hunger for success motivates me to give everything on the pitch and fight for a win every week."

His drive to improve and push himself alongside talented teammates has been a key factor in his impressive goal-scoring form.

Chasing Playoff Glory

With the season progressing, Krasniqi remains focused on the bigger picture—helping NW London FC secure a playoff spot. He knows that every game matters at this stage, and preparation is key.

"With the talent we have, our goal is to secure a playoff position by the end of the season. Every match is crucial, and maintaining peak fitness while avoiding injuries is essential at this stage."

For him, success comes from a simple yet relentless mindset.

"I stay focused and push myself to be at my best, knowing that every performance counts. My mindset is simple—I aim to win every game and do whatever it takes to help the team succeed."

His determination and consistency will be vital as NW London FC continues their push for promotion.

Standout Teammates

While Krasniqi has been a standout performer himself, he is quick to acknowledge the influence of his teammates.

"There are plenty of talented players in the squad. To name a few, Vali (Valetin Burcea). Leader on the field. Always brings great energy to the dressing room while inspiring the team to fight until the final whistle, playing with heart."

He also sees immense potential in younger players looking to develop their game.

"I'm also really impressed by Lamine (Lamine Gomes)—he's a calm and composed winger who's always willing to listen and improve to advice I can share. I truly believe he's one of many in this team with the ability to go far with their football career."
