NW London extended their winning streak to four matches, and three straight in the league, with an emphatic 4–2 victory over Southend Manor at Coles Park. The two sides were separated by just one place in the table before kick-off, but a strong performance ensured NW London pulled further ahead.
There were changes to the line-up, with Gherardo Lucchesini starting in place of the injured Bernardino Andeme, while Krouchi came into the centre of defence for captain Emmanuel Okoko. Despite arriving late to the ground due to a kit issue, NW London began at a blistering pace. Wesley Café went close early on when he tried to loft the ball over the advancing goalkeeper, while Manor nearly struck first themselves, only for Krouchi to recover brilliantly to deny a clear chance after the forward had rounded Barker.
NW London kept the pressure on, dominating possession and testing a packed Manor defence. The breakthrough came in style when Lucchesini marked his first goal for the club with a stunning curling strike into the top corner from outside the box. Momentum quickly built, and within two minutes Krouchi doubled the lead, his free-kick skidding off the wet surface and into the net.
The hosts were relentless, and soon after Café played through CJ Eseka, who calmly slotted home to make it 3–0. With the game seemingly out of sight by half-time, the second half was more controlled, though Manor pulled one back with a looping header to hint at a comeback.
Any hopes were swiftly ended when Café produced another moment of quality, cutting inside and rifling an unstoppable strike from 25 yards into the top corner. Substitute Jose Mata almost added a fifth from close range before Manor grabbed a late consolation from a corner in stoppage time.
In the end, it was another impressive attacking display from NW London, who are gathering real momentum as their strong run continues.
