Arianit Krasniqi has been voted Club Player of the Season for the 2024/25 campaign, following a vote by players and staff.
The 27-year-old Albanian forward made a major impact in his debut season, finishing with an impressive 16 goals and 6 assists in 33 appearances. Starting the season as a wide forward, Krasniqi was later moved into a central striker role — a change that saw his goal-scoring form reach new heights. His performances earned him a place among the top scorers in the Thurlow Nunn Division One South.
Manager Wasim Khan praised his standout season:
"He came in with good experience from higher levels and wanted a season where he could play regularly and show just how good a striker he is.
His attitude from the first minute was spot on, and when that happens, you often get a season like the one he's had.
He's one of the most composed finishers I've seen in the box, and what impressed me most was how he developed his link play to match our style as the season progressed.
His close control and technical ability are of a very high standard, which is why he's so effective across the front line.
If he keeps that same focus, I've no doubt he can enjoy another fantastic season."
Krasniqi's impact on and off the pitch has made him a fan favourite and a key figure in the dressing room — and with one season under his belt, both the club and supporters will be eager to see what he delivers next.
