CJ Eseka Returns to NW London
CJ Eseka, 24, is set to return to NW London ahead of the 2025–26 campaign. The forward rejoins the club after a season with Broadfields United (Step 5).
Eseka made a major impact during his previous spell at the club, scoring 19 goals in 22 appearances during the 2023–24 season. A standout moment came with a hat-trick against Dunmow Town, helping NWL mount a remarkable 10-man comeback to win 4–3 at Coles Park.
Italian Forward Gherado Lucchesini Joins for 2025/26
The club is pleased to announce the signing of Italian forward Gherado Lucchesini ahead of the 2025–2026 season.
Lucchesini, 24, developed through the Italian club system and brings experience from the English non-league game, having featured for Harefield United (Step 5) and Jolof Sports (Step 7). He impressed last season with 11 goals in 19 appearances for Jolof.
A versatile attacker, Lucchesini can play across the forward line and also has the potential to operate in midfield. Notably, he featured against NW London FC in the 5–1 win over Jolof Sports during the London Senior Trophy mid-2024/25.
Youth Talent Promoted to First Team
With the launch of the club's new U18 section, two promising 17-year-olds have earned promotion to the first-team squad.
Youan Yvann (Ivory Coast): A busy, technically skilled midfielder who earned his spot after impressing during U18 trials.
Maikel Alvarez (Bolivia/Spain): A technically gifted midfielder raised in Spain, Alvarez caught the eye with his creative play and composure on the ball.
Manager's Thoughts – Wasim Khan
When CJ expressed his desire to return, it made a lot of sense because his numbers from last time prove just how good he is. I definitely believe there's much more to come, as he's at a great age to progress even further.
Gherado was a keen interest for us. Having seen him play and train, he's one of those attacking players who can fulfill many roles. Along with that, he can be very impactful around and inside the area.
As for the two youngsters promoted, they were outstanding technically. We have to progress them, of course—they'll need to learn—but they have the tools to play for NW London. We're looking forward to developing them well.
