Pre-Season Friendly - Wednesday 16th July 2025
Stonewall 1-2 NW London
NWL Goalscorers : Onur Gongar 1', Mohammed Al-Nashi 25'

NW London secured a 2–1 victory over familiar opponents Stonewall FC in their third pre-season friendly of the summer, played at a neutral venue.

The two teams share history from their Middlesex League days. During NW London's treble-winning 2021–22 season, Stonewall kept a clean sheet against them across both league meetings.

NW London started strongly, with 17-year-old Onur Gongar opening the scoring after a well-timed assist from Mitchell Ngwueche. This was Ngwueche's first start in over nine years, dating back to the club's Sunday league days before it became semi-professional.

The visitors dominated the first half, with Omar Abdallah hitting the woodwork before Al-Nashi doubled the lead just before half-time.

In the second half, with several changes made, Stonewall grew into the game and pulled a goal back through a one-two inside the box. NW London had further chances, with Abdallah again hitting the woodwork, but the match ended 2–1.

NW London now prepare for their next friendly, away at PFC Victoria on Saturday.
