Manager Wasim Khan believes two of his brightest young talents, Hussein Farhat and Bernardino Andeme, are primed to take on starring roles this season after breaking into the first team as teenagers last year.

Farhat featured at 19 and Andeme at just 17 during their debut campaigns, and Khan says both have made huge strides since.

“I think in Hussein and Bernardino, we have two players that are almost unplayable in training,” Khan said. “They've reached a technical level that is extremely high.”

Farhat has already caught the eye with standout performances this term, while Andeme — who is now fully fit after an interrupted pre-season — is expected to make his first start in the coming weeks.

Reflecting on their progress, Khan highlighted how their experience last season has set the stage for bigger contributions.

“They had their first full season with us, in which they learnt a great deal. Now I think they can fully express their capabilities, which is becoming more evident in games,” he explained.

Khan also stressed the importance of continued professionalism.

“Of course, they need to maintain their hard work off the pitch to grow their level as they're both young. But they have a much higher understanding of their game now, and I think they can reach the next level in terms of performances.”

With hunger, maturity, and a rapidly developing technical edge, both Hussein Farhat and Bernardino Andeme could soon become central figures in Khan's plans — and possibly in the league's spotlight — this season.
